The LDK license should always be installed only on the intended PC hardware which the RIP will be run from as once activated the Product Key cannot be activated again on another PC. And on the activated PC an LDK soft-lock or VM-lock is programmed to allow a set number of activations, normally one. However LDK SL License can be transferred from one PC <Source PC> to another PC<Target PC> if required by using the provided LDK Tool. [PLEASE NOTE THAT VL LICENSE CANNOT BE RE-HOSTED UNDER THE PROCEDURES DESCRIBED BELOW; FOR VL LICENSE A NEW PRODUCT KEY WILL NEED BE REQUESTED!!]

Below describes how you can “re-host” a license, to transfer it to another machine using the LDK Tool:

  1. 1.Install the RIP onto the new machine (the Target PC).
  2. On the Target PC start the LDK Tool by going to \ldk\utils within the RIP installation directory and double-click LDKTool.exe. Select Transfer License.
